Believe it or not, it does take your brain time to read each label on every box and translate the code on there to whichever room it was from and must be unloaded to. While most people understandably dread the planning and packing for a household move, there are many ways to stay organized during the process. Color Coded Your Box Label
- Purchase labeling stickers in different primary colors. Assign a color to each family member for their personal items boxes.
- Place a color coded labeling sticker on each of the personal items boxes from each family member
- When you are unloading the moving truck at your new home, you’ll know just with a glance which boxes are Mom’s, which are Dad’s, and which belong to each child.
